Welcome to Patch 1.7
Update 1.7 will be released in two parts. The first part is the server side changes, which will go live with a server update today, Wednesday October 28th. The second part is the client side changes, which will (most likely) go live next week, pending the results of testing. Update 1.7 will come with a ton of visual map improvements, unit travel time balancing, map balancing and various bug fixes and back-end improvements.
Server side changes/updates:
-Adjusted the outpost capturing times, especially in cases where the guild owning the outpost has a very high number of outposts. This will give the guilds with lower amounts of outposts a chance to capture outposts much faster than before.
-Increased travel times on higher tier units by 20% per tier. The time will further increase as the distance you are traveling increases.
-Outposts will no longer grant 100% hospital rate to defenders when you own the territory. The rate will now be 50% for defenders regardless if you’re the territory owner or not.
-Increased outpost shield time after capturing for guilds with no outposts, from 12 hours to 18 hours.
-Newly created maps (any new maps created after the 1.7 server update) will have a max guild size of 30 (down from 50).
-Newly created maps (any new maps created after the 1.7 server update) will have HQ zones that are 2x the size of the current HQ zones.
-All currently created maps (5 in total) are now open for all players to join and newly created maps will still only be open for new players.
-Slightly increased the chances of getting Resources, Army Speedups, Recalls and Retreats from Crooks, which will result in slightly lower chances of teleports and gems.
-Increased the value of some of the Black Market bundles in the shop by 100. Players who have purchased these bundles at a lower value will receive the new bundle value via a System message very soon.
-Increased the value of Gems when buying resources and speed ups. This will result in the “buy now” prices being greatly reduced!
-Decreased auto kick time in guilds to 3 days at max (was 14 days previously).
-Reduced guild change cooldown to 2 days (down from 5 days).
Client side changes/updates:
The Mission system is here! This new feature will give you various missions to complete for rewards! (NOTE: The Mission system will be deactivated until all users are forced to update to 1.7, keep an eye on the Discord server for the exact date/time)
